Advanced content filtering and management McAfee GroupShield scans emails and the content of more than 300 different attachment types for inappropriate words or phrases. Using true file-type identification and filtering capabilities, GroupShield can search and remove attachments and nested attachments found in many archive or compressed file types, outsmarting the file-blocking evasion techniques used by many of today’s more destructive threats. Both users and the organization are protected from the effects of inappropriate content with customizable sample rules pre-set to block content such as profanity, racism, bigotry, and more. Message discard McAfee GroupShield sends alert messages whenever a virus is detected in an email message. In the event of a mass-mailer, these useful alert messages can become an annoyance.
