ProtectionPilot also includes interactive monitoring, providing visibility into system compliance, virus activity, and software configuration.

With Active Virus Defense SMB, you don’t have to worry about constantly updating systems to keep them current. ProtectionPilot ensures anti-virus coverage is always up-to-date by checking in with McAfee every hour for new virus updates. If any updates exist, ProtectionPilot retrieves them and automatically deploys them to all systems on your network, all without any manual intervention.

The McAfee anti-virus scan engine stops every type of virus and malicious code threat, including “traditional” viruses, email worms, Internet worms, DDoS (distributed denial-of-service) attacks, backdoor and remote access Trojans, and zombies.
